Boland Triumps in Killarney

Killarney kingpins Eamon Boland and Damien Morrisey deservedly claimed the Ordnance Survey Ireland International Rally of the Lakes today powered in their Subaru Impreza. With a total time of of 2:14:14.9 the pair finished a comfortable 3 minutes ahead of Derek McGarrity and Dairmuid Falvey in 2nd place.

Kris Meeke to Drive Renault Clio S1600

Kris Meeke is to have his first outing of the year at the Killarney Rally of the Lakes in a S1600 Clio, supplied and run by EXCEL RALLYING, and returns to the event where he won his first International in 2007.

Rally returns to Beara Peninsula

Saturday includes all the great classic stages of the Beara Peninsula such as Cod's Head, Ardgroom and the Healy Pass, while on Sunday the rally will visit such old favourites as Caragh Lake, Beallaghbeama and the reintroduced Beallaghoisin, which has not been used for a number of years.
